San Antonio Regla

The only visible vestige of San Antonio is the chimney that emerges from a dam built on top of the hacienda by the Landero family in 1916, this family owned at that moment several haciendas of the region and an electricity company; in this place visitors can enjoy a motorboat tour.

The dam mouth flows over one of the largest and rarest geological formations of the world: the Basaltic Prisms, there is another access to this place through a recreational community center where it is also possible to take a motorboat tour, fish, swim, ride a horse, purchase crafts, and enjoy a delicious meal. This site is also adapted for visitors that want to take their own food.

Santa María Regla

During the 1750’s, Pedro Romero de Terreros, First Count of Regla, decided that his ore processing haciendas were not enough to process his mineral, for this reason he purchased El Salto hacienda and built in this place the most impressive of his plants: Santa María, described and painted by travelers in the 19th century such as Eugenio Landesio and Moris Rugendas, among others, thanks to its conservation and integrity condition until a few years ago, this place was the best example of a patio processing plant in the region and probably in the whole country.

San Miguel Regla

San Miguel, now operating as a hotel, has suffered a total transformation of the old processing plant, the only reference of this activity are the furnaces emerging from the artificial lake created for tourists enjoyment.
